The opportunity

Our client is a large independent consulting firm operating across 25 countries and offering a variety of business solutions for major organizations including data protection compliance advisory both at local and EU levels.

Due to business growth, this firm is currently looking to hire an experienced data protection professional to be based in its head offices in the proximity of Paris. 

As part of a dedicated privacy consulting practice and a very competent team, you will manage interesting client projects including, but not limited to, data inventory, compliance audits under the local laws and the GDPR, preparation of roadmaps, implementation of action plans, drafting policies and procedures, delivering general or specific-audience privacy awareness training programs for client stakeholders, assisting with corporate governance (e.g. setting up a governance structure, certification procedures, privacy seals) and executing tasks in the capacity of an external DPO for assigned clients.

Your profile​
  • 5+ years of experience in data protection and privacy, gained in-house or in a consulting environment, ideally a combination of both. Privacy experience with(in) financial, retail, media and telecom industries is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of operational privacy and corporate practices. 
  • Solid experience in working with the French data protection-related laws and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the GDPR and other EU-level legislative frameworks.
  • Good understanding of information security practices related to EU data protection.
  • Confident personality with excellent communication, presentation and drafting skills.
  • Native (or native-level) French with business fluent English.
